Indoor Heat Ordinance Passes to Keep Renters Cool

The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors has passed a new ordinance aimed at helping renters in unincorporated areas stay cool during extreme heat. The board approved a measure that mandates landlords maintain indoor temperatures at or below 82°F.
